Get Ready to Totally Freak Out!

So We went to the Flaming Lips show last night. It was incredible! I have never witnessed anything so spectacular and elaborate. Balloons were every where. Lots of lasers and lights and fog and more balloons. It's really hard to describe. So I took some pictures because I knew I would have a difficult time describing it.



All right!

That is the stage as we were walking into the arena. Notice the elaborate stage set. And the 5000 balloons behind the stage.



That is the UFO. It's a stage prop that the Flaming Lips use when they are coming onto the stage. I have a pretty decent video of it that I'll put up.

Wayne came out before the show to tell us what was going on. Basically his nephew's band would come out to play, then The Flaming Lips, then at 11:30 we would do our own countdown so that we could go outside and see the fire works that the city of Oklahoma puts on every year.

The show started, and all kinds of crazy noise started playing and that big UFO lit up and descended onto the stage. Steve, Mike, and Cliff climbed out of the bottom of while Wayne stood on the top inside of a giant plastic inflatable bubble. Once the bubble was entirely blown up, he walked out onto the crowd! He was right over me. I got some pretty decent pictures. Observe:
