Video

Hey everyone! Here are some of the videos I took of the event. Actually, I didn't take one of them. My friend Jon (whose blog you should check out) took this video of Wayne in the giant bubble into their opening song Race For the Prize.

and here are a couple that I took. I still have a few more that are uploading.

This first video is the same as Jon's, but not as good. It doesn't have the Race for the Prize song or Wayne walking on the crowd. I had to put my camera back into my pocket real fast because Wayne walked right over where I was.

They also played a cover of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody. It was awesome because they did it like a sing-a-long with the words in the backgrounds. Wayne kept encouraging the crowd to sing a long. It was so awesome. Plus they always do a great cover of this song.

They also really changed things up when they played one of their older songs from the album "In a Priest Driven Ambulance" entitled Mountain Side. I was super excited when they started playing it because it was so unexpected. It's not a great quality video if you don't really know the song. But it was hard to take as well because of all the balloons plus I was jumping around and generally having a great time.

They also played a special sing-a-long version of Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots Pt. 1 with just the keyboards. Again, Wayne was encouraging the crowd as best he could to sing a long. It was different, but quite fun.

Another highlight from the show was when they played the song from their latest album "At War With the Mystics" entitled "Vein of Stars". It was simply incredible. Before the show, everyone got laser lights from the stage hands and what not. And during this song, Wayne told everybody to just shine the lasers directly at him the entire time. Half way through the song, all the lights went out and Wayne was holding up this mirror and reflecting the lasers back into the crowd. It was such an incredible thing to witness. But sadly no video :)

I still have about three more videos to upload. So I will do that tomorrow night.

For now, I am going off to bed.
