Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust

Hello everyone. I have done a lot of things over my Christmas break including throwing a boomerang, being a groomsman in a wedding, and finishing a quilt with my grandma. I'll post more in depth when I have stuff to share.

Anyway, more about 2008 music I like...

Sigur Rós - Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust

2008 has been a pretty mediocre music year. I don't think anything incredibly amazing was released (that I listened to at least). Most albums of this year seemed inconsistent to me. They failed to keep me interested the entire time I was listening. This album by Sigur Rós is a good example. The album starts out great with Gobbledigook, and the incredibly energetic horns of Inní mér syngur vitleysingur. The best part about this album is how playful it is. The worst part is that the playfulness get drowned out by overdrawn and overdramatic songs like Festival. However I do like some of the more softer songs like Fljótavík. Very reminiscent of their ( ) album. As much as it looks like I've complained about this album, I do like it a lot.
